Chadatip Chutrakul, Chief Executive Officer of Siam Piwat Group, has been honored with the Tatler Impact Award for Business at the Tatler Ball Thailand 2025 and the Diamond Commercial Award 2025 for hospitality business operators from the Ministry of Commerce. In addition to these accolades, which serve as testament to Siam Piwat Group’s global success, ICONSIAM has been selected as the only finalist from Thailand and named one of the Most Influential Retail Property Projects of the Past 30 Years at the MAPIC Awards 2025, often referred to as the Cannes of the retail industry, making it one of the two properties from Asia to have received this recognition against other world-class entries, such as Dubai Mall (UAE), Battersea Power Station (UK), and Marina Bay Sands (Singapore).
ICONSIAM once earned recognition for Thailand on the global stage at the MAPIC AWARDS 2019 as the winner in the Best Shopping Center category. For this year’s edition, MAPIC has introduced a special category: the “Most Influential Retail Property Project of the Past 30 Years.” For this award, the committee seeks to honor visionary projects distinguished by their bold ambition, their commitment to shifting industry paradigms, and their power to redefine retail destinations, as reflected in their groundbreaking architectural design, new retail mix concepts, and delivery of innovative value propositions.
Widely regarded as a trailblazer in Thailand’s retail property industry, Chadatip has launched global landmarks such as Siam Paragon and ICONSIAM to world-class success and created real-world models of sustainable development. In addition, she is recognized as a driving force of creativity who fuses Thai culture with cutting-edge innovation to create world-class destinations that draw visitors and premier brands from across the globe, enabling Siam Piwat’s projects to earn a total of 36 world-class top awards combined. With Chadatip at the helm, Siam Piwat has also transformed its businesses into platforms of opportunity that empower local heroes to become global heroes. Among these are SOOKSIAM, the ultimate hub of local Thai food and crafts that not only supports local heroes and elevates them into global heroes but also serves as a business ecosystem that develops and advances local communities from upstream to downstream; and ICONCRAFT, the ultimate showcase where local artisans and craftspeople nationwide are empowered to apply creativity and a modern perspective to their work and enter modern trade, ultimately driving the sustainable development of local communities.
Under Chadatip’s leadership, Siam Piwat has grown exponentially both as a business and as a global brand trusted by partner retailers and initiated various projects that reshape Thailand’s economy and retail industry. Chadatip currently serves as a Member of the National Soft Power Strategy Committee and Chairman of the Steering Subcommittee on Festivals to drive the implementation of Thailand’s soft power strategy to achieve tangible outcomes.
