Siam Piwat Joins hands with the United Nations Uniting Global Partnerships to Drive Society toward a Sustainable Future

Siam Piwat Co.Ltd., a leading real estate and retail business developer in Thailand, proudly joins the global celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the United Nations (UN) — organized by the United Nations in Thailand in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In this momentous occasion, Siam Piwat supports the special photo exhibition “30 Stories, 17 Goals, One Road to 2030” and a series of inspirational talks that promote the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), reaffirming Siam Piwat’s commitment to driving Thai society toward a sustainable future through its “Co-creating & Shared Value” philosophy — a mission to create shared benefits among business, society, and the environment for long-term, balanced growth.

The photo exhibition “30 Stories, 17 Goals, One Road to 2030”, held to commemorate the UN’s 80th Anniversary, presents 30 powerful real-life stories from across Thailand that embody the spirit of positive change toward achieving the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Highlights include a story of southern Thai youth gaining new educational opportunities through UNESCO’s Learning Coin project; a visually impaired social entrepreneur who founded PaperyBfly under UNDP’s Youth Co:Lab to promote equality; and a community leader and farmer in southern Thailand who has adopted FAO’s sustainable agriculture model to uplift his community and pass on knowledge to the next generation. More than a photographic showcase, the exhibition represents the collective effort of Thai society in moving the nation forward through meaningful actions.

The event also features two inspiring panel discussions, creating an open platform for knowledge exchange among experts from international organizations, government, the private sector, community leaders, youth, and networks of partners.

The first panel, “Building Sustainable Communities for Future Generations,” explores new perspectives on sustainability from Thai thought leaders, designers, and sustainability experts including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Singh Intrachooto, Dr. Thanyaporn Krichtitayawuth, Wilawan Panyoung, and Dr. Sarun Naraprasertkul (“Doctor Neng”), moderated by Phiphat Witthayapanyanon (Arm). The discussion highlights ways to balance the environment, economy, and quality of life to create a better world for future generations.

A highlight of the session was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Singh Intrachooto, Chief Sustainability Advisor of Siam Piwat Group, who emphasized the company’s long-standing commitment to sustainable development. He also revealed Siam Paragon’s upcoming world-first initiative, NEXTOPIA — The City of the Future, a groundbreaking 15,000-square-meter destination co-created by over 50 innovation organizations, partners, and 30 communities of “Friends of NEXTOPIA.” This visionary project will invite collaboration from all sectors to inspire a better world — one that merges creativity, joy, and sustainability — and is set to be unveiled soon.

The second panel, “Empowering Thai Youth for Global Leadership,” gathers inspiration from former Thai Youth Delegates to the UN General Assembly (UNGA) and young diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including Patsachol Akanitvong (UNGA78 Ranchida Rojanakit (UNGA79), Pornpiseth Semson (UNGA80), and Jiratt Pluemthanom (UNGA80), moderated by Pinda Viriyapongsri (UNGA77). The session offers insights into their real-world experiences on the global stage and the role of young generations in driving society toward a sustainable future.
