Siam Paragon and Bangkok Hospital now roll out Covid-19 vaccination to speed up mass immunization

Bangkok (7 June 29021) Siam Paragon, in collaboration with Bangkok Hospital, Health Department under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and the Thai Chamber of Commerce today rolled out Covid-19 vaccination for the public. Starting from 7 June 2021, Siam Paragon’s convention center Royal Paragon Hall, 5th Floor, is serving as an alternative immunization station. The operation is efficiently managed with maximum safety measure in practice. This non-hospital inoculation site also provides convenient access to vaccine recipients, thanks to its city-centered location.

The inoculation is provided to the public pre-registered via “Mor Prom” or “Thai Ruam Jai, Safe Bangkok” platforms. In addition to the vaccination venue, Siam Paragon fully supports the national immunization agenda by allocating assisting staffs and volunteers for the daily operation and providing others supporting facilities to provide fast and efficient service.

Talun Teng, Managing Director of Royal Paragon Hall, said “Siam Paragon’s city-centered location enables convenient access for the vaccine recipients. With more than 12,000-square-meter space and effective operation system, our Royal Paragon Hall can accommodate over 2,500 vaccine recipients per day. The spacious venue also allows safe social-distancing and strict disease control standard is in practice, to ensure best safety for the people. Siam Paragon also joins Dhipaya Insurance to offer free post-vaccination insurance for any possible affect to vaccine recipients at Siam Paragon. Registration for the insurance can be registered from today to 30 July, 2021.”

Siam Paragon is functional in terms of space that can serve a large number of vaccine recipients, allow safe social distancing and post-vaccination symptoms monitoring areas, according to the guidelines from the Ministry of Health andas well as safety measures and convenient access. For the site operation, Bangkok Hospital makes it our priority to provide quality and hospital-level standard medical services, for best health safety of the vaccine recipients. Hospital standards is put into stringent practices including health and safety measures, infectious disease control, strict social distancing as well as vaccine transfer, preparation and quality control. The hospital standard will also cover patient care in case of any possible emergency related to acute vaccine side-effect or any other emergency cases. Fully-equipped first-aid unit is also available with essential equipment and medication that cover advanced life support system and teams of emergency personnel including emergency medicine (ER) physicians, nurses and emergency medical technicians are on stand-by to treat emergency cases. Transfer plan for emergency patient is prepared, patient will be transferred to Police General Hospital, the closest hospital, so the case will be treated as quickly and as effectively as possible at quality and trusted hospital. For the public, Covis-19 vaccine allocated by the government is available for vaccination from 7 June – 31 July 2021. Bangkok Hospital is hosting two vaccination sites at 1. Bangkok Hospital, Soi Soonvijai, Bangkok, from 08.00 -17.00 hrs. and 2. Bangkok Hospital (Siam Paragon) at Royal Paragon Hall, 5th Floor, Siam Paragon, Bangkok, from 09.00 -16.00 hrs.The service will be given to pre-registered recipients via “Mor Prom” mobile or LINE application or Thai Ruam Jai, Safe Bangkok” system, with an underlying goal to accelerate immunization to residents of Bangkok, which is currently the maximum and strict-Covis-19 control province.
