Siam Piwat reinforces its policy on diversity and equality, fully supporting Pride Month activities.

Siam Piwat Group, a leading real estate and retail developer, the owner and operator of Siam Paragon, Siam Center, and Siam Discovery, and a joint venture partner of ICONSIAM, ICS and Siam Premium Outlets Bangkok announces its support for the policy of Diversity, Equality & Inclusion in Pride Month of LGBT people or LGBTQIAN + with the development of an "All are welcome" management system for everyone to show their full potential despite the difference in gender and concretely reflect the goals of equality and diversity.

Mrs. Chadatip Chutrakul, Chief Executive Officer Siam Piwat Group, stated that "We have been advocating for gender equality for a very long time. Siam Piwat creates possibilities because we grow by providing opportunities to others. We have done business with the intention of creating shared value that is not confined to conducting business, but Siam Piwat is a place where everyone can share their experiences. To serve our clients, society, and communities with equality, it is critical to promote equitable opportunities for all groups of people, on which we have collaborated for many years with UNDP.

Furthermore, Siam Piwat is committed to transforming all group settings into community centers and to honoring people of various backgrounds, including gender, ethnicity, and health. We support and generate value for all differences, diversity, equality, and inclusion, which is a principle to which we have consistently adhered. It can be seen in the design of Siam Piwat Group’s shopping centers under the Universal Design concept, which is the design and development of infrastructure and diverse services for all people."

The group’s shopping centers have recently stated their stance on diversity and equality. The Siam Center DiversCity Building, which places importance on diversity , is Thailand's first shopping center that collaborates with the United Nations Development Programme Thailand (UNDP Thailand), a global organization dedicated to improving people's lives through good governance in all aspects.

Siam Piwat Group takes part in the "Bangkok Pride 2023" activities on the occasion of Pride Month in June 2023, as follows:

1. Collaborate with business partners to plan a variety of events, such as adorning all of the group's shopping centers, arranging initiatives in collaboration with Bangkok Naruemit Pride, and joining hands with partners to offer insurance packages for gender diverse couples.

2. Siam Center, – The Ideaopolis, presents THE WORLD OF FREEDOM AND PRIDE, which promotes the importance of all distinctions and equal diversity, under the principle of Diversity, Equality, and Inclusiveness. On June 4, 2023, enjoy the Bangkok Pride Parade with the public and private sectors coming together to celebrate. Siam Center also partners with artists such as Mr. Kreme, Thai artists who produce world-famous art toys, and major Thai designer brands to celebrate Pride Month in June 2023.

3. Siam Discovery has established Pride Space, a creative activity space at Discovery Plaza.

4. Siam Paragon has adorned the area to commemorate Pride Month with special activities at Parc Paragon during 1-30 June 2023.

5. ICONSIAM and ICS works together to promote equality and diversity in all forms by launching a major campaign called "ICONSIAM Love Proudly" in which everyone, regardless of gender, can proudly love one another. The festival includes the "ICONIC Multimedia Water Features", Southeast Asia's longest water dance extravaganza that mixes light, color, sound, and multimedia in a rainbow theme. The show is shown twice a day, at 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. You will also be amazed by the splendor of the bright rainbow waterfall in the Alangkarn zone on the 6th floor, which is open every day from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. throughout June.

For its continued support of policies on diversity, equality and inclusiveness, Siam Piwat was honored as an exemplary network organization promoting gender equality from the Gender Fair 2022, recognized and awarded a certificate as an exemplary network organization promoting gender equality, and also won the UN Women 2022 Thailand's WEPs Awards for Gender Equality Workplace and Bronze Award for Excellence on Women Empowerment Strategy from the HR Excellence Awards 2022. All of this reflects Siam Piwat's position as a cutting-edge organization with a focus on diversity and equality, which is ready for the changes of the future world.
