Siam Inter-Continental Hotel was opened as the first 5-star international hotel in Thailand, and the first property project of the company.
1973
The first international shopping mall in Thailand
Siam Center opened as the first international standard shopping mall in Thailand and introduced shopping mall business to Thai retail market.
1993
Registered and paid-up capital was increased to 174 million baht to facilitate business expansion.
1997
The first lifestyle shopping mall in Thailand
Siam Discovery opened as the first lifestyle shopping mall, with the opening of Loft, the first renowned Japanese specialty store in Thailand, and Siam Piwat Tower, grade A office building at Pathumwan intersection in the same year.
2003
New century, new name
The company was renamed as Siam Piwat Company Limited on 28 January 2003.

Siam Paragon was opened as the first world-class luxury shopping center in Thailand with the highest private investment at the time, which helped restore foreign investor confidence to the country after economic crisis.

Paragon Hall was launched as the world-class venue for all types of events in every scale that is strategically located in the heart of Bangkok, on the 5th floor of Siam Paragon.
The first to transform shopping center into an experiential destination. Siam Center underwent a major renovation and reopened with a revolutionary concept as Siam Center – the Ideaopolis, an arena of limitless imagination and creativity where art, fashion, technology and lifestyle converge.
The launch of Siam Piwat Academy, Thailand’s first institution that transfers knowledge and experience in shopping mall and property facility management to the interested public.
Siam Piwat has also collaborated with Chulalongkorn University and Thammasat University to introduce Thailand’s first specific courses of facility management.

With this project, Siam Piwat’s role as a retailer has advanced to another level and become one of managing visitors’ experiences and emotions at the destination, rather than just one of managing products, categories and displays.
The icon of Thailand: ICONSIAM. The greatest collaboration
The grand opening of ICONSIAM, a megaproject recognized as a world-class destination and the icon of Thailand’s prosperity by the Chao Phraya River showcasing the best of Thailand meets the best of the world. In the same year, Siam Piwat increased its registered and paid-up capital to 274 million baht.
Siam Premium Outlets Bangkok was opened to bring the first true premium outlet experience with the world’s most recognized and popular brands to Thailand.
