Environment
Siam Piwat is committed to environmental stewardship across all its operating sites and utilizes spaces across its properties in a way that promotes environmental awareness and encourages the efficient and optimal use of resources, with the goals of achieving zero waste to landfill by 2040 and net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
Employee Education
Siam Piwat educates its employees to foster understanding of its sustainability initiatives and encourage eco-conscious behaviors, from selecting eco-friendly products and maximizing their use to sorting waste efficiently and properly to enable continuous repurposing and value creation from waste.
Green Area Policy
Green spaces are made an essential component of every shopping center as they not only play a vital role in absorbing carbon dioxide, increasing oxygen in the air, and reducing temperatures around the premises but also create a relaxing and environmentally friendly atmosphere. Siam Piwat currently maintains over 38,400 square meters of green areas across its shopping centers, namely Siam Paragon (3,000 sq. m.), Siam Center (250 sq. m.), Siam Discovery (350 sq. m.), Siam Car Park Building (4,400 sq. m.), ICONSIAM (4,500 sq. m.), ICS (1,400 sq. m.), and Siam Premium Outlets Bangkok (24,500 sq. m.).

Efficient Building Management

Siam Piwat has been able to significantly cut its greenhouse gas emissions thanks to efficient building management. A key example is Siam Piwat’s solar rooftop installation at ICONSIAM and Siam Premium Outlets Bangkok, covering over 18,000 square meters. This system generates over 4.8 million kWh of clean solar energy annually and contributes over 2,400,000 kgCO2e in avoided emissions per year, equivalent to planting approximately 25,260 trees annually.
