Bangkok (October 10, 2025) – Siam Piwat Co., Ltd., a leading real estate and retail business developer in Thailand, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of Culture to collaboratively promote and advance Thailand’s creative cultural industry, thus sustainably bolstering and transforming its cultural heritage and local wisdom into its soft power on the global stage.
Mr. Prasop Riangngen, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, stated, This collaboration with Siam Piwat marks an important milestone in creating a cultural platform that is accessible to both Thais and foreigners, while supporting artists and artisans by providing them with a stage to continuously showcase their work. This MOU aims to advance the government’s policy in promoting potential creative cultural industry and strengthening Thailand’s soft power. The Ministry of Culture places great emphasis on the promotion of soft power to achieve competitiveness at an international level.

The collaboration with Siam Piwat will open up opportunities for Thai artists, artisans, and cultural entrepreneurs to reach a broader audience of both local and international visitors through Siam Piwat’s shopping centers and creative spaces, which are celebrated as world-class hubs for arts and culture.”

Throughout the initial three-year term of this collaboration, Siam Piwat will provide support in various forms, such as by allocating space for traditional and contemporary religious, artistic, and cultural exhibitions; enhancing entrepreneur capabilities through training and knowledge sharing; promoting cultural products of Thailand (CPOT); organizing contemporary art performances and activities that showcase local wisdom; and events aimed at sharing Thai heritage with international audiences. In addition, Siam Piwat will be working with the ministry to co-promote activities strengthening Thailand’s image in the global market.
