Siam Piwat Group wins 5 prestigious Friendly Design Awards 2025, reaffirming its leadership in universal design across its world-class destinations

Siam Piwat Group, a leading real estate and retail developer, the owner and operator of world-class destinations such as Siam Paragon, Siam Center, and Siam Discovery, and a joint venture partner of ICONSIAM and Siam Premium Outlets Bangkok, has been honored with five prestigious accolades at the Friendly Design Awards 2025, with Ms. Chadatip Chutrakul, Chief Executive Officer of Siam Piwat Group, inducted into the Hall of Fame in recognition of her commitment to friendly design for all, solidifying Siam Piwat’s leadership in sustainable global destination development and the promotion of diversity, equity and inclusion through universal design. In addition, Siam Piwat Group was recognized as a model organization for promoting friendly design, eliminating social inequality, and advancing MICE for all and tourism for all, while two of the group’s shopping malls, namely Siam Paragon and ICONSIAM, were honored with the Model Shopping Centers for Friendly Design Awards, with Paragon Hall and ICONSIAM Hall, their two event venues, receiving Friendly Design for MICE Venue Awards. These honors were presented at the Thailand Friendly Design Expo 2025, the ninth edition of the exhibition showcasing universal design, health innovation, wellness tourism, and inclusive tourism, hosted by the Friendly Design for All Foundation at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC) on December 11, 2025. The award ceremony was presided over by Mr. Akara Prompao, Minister of Social Development and Human Security, with Ms. Naratipe Ruttapradid, Chief Operating Officer of Siam Piwat Co., Ltd., and Mr. Sutthichai Chanmeechaikul, Assistant Director of the Engineering Services Department at ICONSIAM Co., Ltd. receiving the accolades on Siam Piwat Group’s behalf.

The Friendly Design for All Foundation presented the distinguished Hall of Fame award to Ms. Chadatip Chutrakul to honor her visionary leadership in consistently prioritizing universal design. The accolade also highlights her pivotal role in ensuring that all projects, from Siam Center, Siam Discovery, and Siam Paragon to ICONSIAM and Siam Premium Outlets Bangkok, not only adhere to international standards of accessibility but also serve as “platforms of opportunities” that foster sustainable growth across all sectors, a space where small entrepreneurs and underprivileged groups can showcase their products, and a community that celebrates diversity and equality and encourages creative participation, with the ultimate goal of delivering exceptional experiences to all.
