NEXTOPIA wins Global Design Award, The Best of Bangkok Design Week 2026 from the European Product Design Award, reinforcing its role as a Prototype for The World of Tomorrow


NEXTOPIA, Prototype for The World of Tomorrow born from the collaboration of change-makers, pioneers, innovators, artists, and environmental advocates, has been awarded The Best of Bangkok Design Week 2026 by the European Product Design Award (EPDA), an internationally recognized design competition that honors outstanding works distinguished by creativity and conceptual excellence. The award was presented by Laurent Devos, CEO of the European Product Design Awards (EPDA), and received by Salawit Suviporn, Head of Creative Powerhouse. Siam Piwat Company Limited on February 5, 2026, at NEXTOPIA, Level 5, Siam Paragon.

This prestigious recognition reflects the success of Siam Piwat Group in its role as a Creative Powerhouse, Thailand’s first developer to pioneer the integration of art, creativity, and culture into retail spaces. NEXTOPIA is one of the highlighted destinations under Siam Piwat Group, which has supported Bangkok Design Week 2026 under the theme “Sustainable Art & Design”, delivering Extraordinary Art Experiences that connect creativity and sustainability with everyday life. The initiative showcased more than 20 art installations and exhibitions across four Siam Piwat shopping destinations.

Located on Levels 5 and 5A of Siam Paragon, NEXTOPIA represents a prototype of Siam Piwat’s retail evolution where design, art, and sustainability converge to generate new value and meaningful experiences for everyday lives. Featured works include The Tree of Life by Pongsatat Uaiklang, a sculptural tree structure; The Bloom, an upcycled art installation; The Ocean Canopy by Korakot Aromdee, interior creations made from recycled materials and ocean waste; The Spiral, a staircase merging art and nature; The Forest Canopy, which reinterprets vertical woodland landscapes; and The Art of Inclusivity by V Craft, an artwork created by visually impaired artists.
