Siam Piwat Co., Ltd. has received an award plaque as an organization supporting the promotion and development of quality of life for individuals with autism from the Thai Autism Foundation for the third consecutive year. The award was presented on the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day (WAAD) 2026, at an event held on April 4, 2026, at NEXTOPIA, 5th Floor, Siam Paragon.
The award was presented by Ms. Sonthaya Boonyaphusit, Director General of Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, to Mrs. Suttirat Bhanavavatana, Executive Vice President - Division Head, Corporate Branding and Communications, Siam Piwat Co., Ltd.
The recognition honors the organization’s continuous support in promoting and enhancing the quality of life for individuals with autism, as well as its role as a model organization in advancing an inclusive and equitable society.
This event was organized in accordance with a declaration by the United Nations, which designates that member states hold activities to promote awareness, understanding, acceptance, and support for individuals with autism in society, as well as to foster collaboration among parent networks, professionals, and related stakeholders.
This award underscores Siam Piwat’s commitment to serving as a role model for sustainable social development through“Siam Piwat Way”, positing its spaces as Platform of Opportunity that empower individuals to fully express and realize their potential. Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion (DEI) are embedded at the core of its business operations, alongside ongoing efforts to develop its properties as destinations that are accessible, inclusive, and welcoming where people from all walks of life can live, connect, and engage in activities together on an equal basis.
Since 2019, Siam Piwat has established the “Made by Beautiful People” zone under the Citizen of Love initiative, creating a platform of creativity and inspiration for talented designers and producers, including people with disabilities, individuals with physical impairments, children with special needs, and underprivileged groups. Dedicated retail spaces are provided at ICONCRAFT, Floors 4–5 at ICONSIAM, and at the Objects of Desire Store (ODS), 3rd Floor, Siam Discovery, enabling them to sell their products free of charge. This initiative exemplifies Siam Piwat Group’s business philosophy of creating shared value and empowering people to grow sustainably together.
