Siam Piwat redefines the future of MICE with a game-changing sustainable model, elevating Thailand’s MICE industry to global standards Paragon Hall and ICONSIAM Hall have become Thailand’s first 100% carbon-neutral venues through carbon offsetting.

Bangkok, June 22, 2026 – Siam Piwat Group, a leading developer of world-class retail and convention destinations, has elevated Thailand’s MICE industry to new heights, reinforcing its status as a game changer in the retail industry and world-class experience development, reflecting its vision to position Thai event venues as sustainable leaders on the global stage.

In recent years, the global MICE industry has faced significant pressure due to growing demand from businesses, investors, and consumers for a tangible and measurable transition toward sustainability. Amidst this shift, Siam Piwat has emerged as a pioneer with its new blueprint for the Thai MICE sector, where event venues generate a long-term positive impact for the planet.

Thailand’s First and Only Carbon-Neutral MICE Venues

A testament to the achievement of Paragon Hall and ICONSIAM Hall is their long-standing ASEAN MICE Venue Standard certifications, held for 12 consecutive years by Paragon Hall and six years by ICONSIAM Hall. Furthermore, Paragon Hall has achieved ISO 20121 certification for sustainable event management systems, highlighting a management approach that takes into account tangible environmental, social, and economic impacts, underscoring a steadfast commitment to maintaining world-class standards.

Additionally, the certification achieved on MICE Day 2026 reflects the trust and confidence placed in Siam Piwat by both the government and the Thai MICE industry.

However, what truly sets Siam Piwat apart is how it is redefining the MICE business by shifting away from a focus on venue size and capacity toward the creation of a measurable impact on the world, driven by a sustainable MICE approach that is both actionable and measurable.

Kritsana Janyasakulwong, Managing Director of Siam Alliance Management Co., Ltd., a Siam Piwat subsidiary that manages both Paragon Hall and ICONSIAM Hall, stated: “Siam Piwat’s role as a game changer is to go beyond project development and continuously establish new prototypes for the industry. The development of our carbon-neutral MICE venues is not just about mitigating environmental impact but is also about elevating Thailand’s standards for event organization to a global level and fostering a balance between economic growth, social responsibility, and environmental stewardship.”

“By simply selecting Paragon Hall or ICONSIAM Hall, organizers are contributing to carbon reduction. This is because we have already fully offset the venue’s carbon footprint as well as any carbon generated by electricity and water consumption, applicable to every event hosted within our spaces. This model elevates a traditional MICE venue into a platform that delivers shared value to the planet.”

Siam Piwat’s landmark achievement in sustainable MICE is its development of Thailand’s first carbon-neutral MICE venues. This move reflects its commitment to comprehensive environmental impact reduction and environmental stewardship, encompassing:

- The design and management of all operational processes to minimize carbon emissions through the efficient use of energy and resources

- Assessment of Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions under the Carbon Footprint for Organization (CFO) framework, with 100% of operational emissions offset through carbon credits, achieving carbon neutrality.

This approach ensures that every event hosted at these venues contributes to a comprehensive environmental impact reduction, a practice that is rapidly becoming the new gold standard for the global MICE industry.

A New Equation for the MICE Industry

Siam Piwat is defining a “new equation” for the industry, featuring the concepts of “connection” and “responsibility,” as presented at TMX 2026.

Connection refers to the venue’s role as a hub that brings people together from across the globe through events that create both lasting value and memories.

Responsibility refers to a business model that considers long-term impacts on the environment and society.

When these two concepts are integrated, every event is transformed into a meaningful experience for both the attendees and the planet.

From a strategic perspective, Siam Piwat is redefining the competitive landscape by pivoting toward sustainable MICE, leveraging its core organizational strengths to enhance its capabilities as follows:

1. 360 Sustainable Global Destination Expertise Drawing on its proven track record as a developer of world-class landmarks, Siam Piwat possesses sustainability management expertise across every dimension, from infrastructure and operations to customer experience, as well as extensive experience collaborating with leading global organizations that demand international standards. As such, Siam Piwat is equipped to apply this expertise to the comprehensive management of its world-class venues.

2. Agile & Resilient Team With a deep understanding of the global context, Siam Piwat’s professional MICE team can adapt swiftly to constant changes in the world and possesses a leadership DNA that drives them to consistently stay ahead of the curve.

3. Partnership Ecosystem Siam Piwat’s robust network of partners can adopt cutting-edge innovations and global best practices earlier and more readily than others.

These core strengths have established Siam Piwat’s venues as the only such establishments in Thailand to meet global sustainability standards.

At a time when the global MICE industry is working to accelerate its transition, Siam Piwat has demonstrated that sustainability presents an opportunity to create differentiation, sharpen competitive advantages, and elevate Thailand’s position as the hub of sustainable MICE on the world stage.
